Roma Tre joins Epicur and strengthens its international dimension
Roma Tre is strengthening its presence within the European Higher Education Area by joining EPICUR – European Partnership for an Innovative Campus Unifying Regions, one of the European University Alliances supported by the Erasmus+ Programme.
The University will participate in the new EPICUR SHAPE-IT-PLUS project,  selected by the European Commission under the European Universities initiative and funded for the period from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028.

Participation in the project will allow Roma Tre to contribute directly to the development of the Alliance’s activities and to progressively expand opportunities for collaboration with partner universities in the areas of education, international mobility, research, innovation and institutional cooperation.
The Alliance, coordinated by Université de Strasbourg (France), brings Roma Tre together with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (Germany), Universität für Bodenkultur Wien (Austria), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland), University of Southern Denmark (Denmark), Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Spain), Université de Haute-Alsace (France) and Universität Basel (Switzerland).
EPICUR aims to build a shared European academic space by promoting the mobility of students, academic staff, researchers and professional and administrative staff, the development and sharing of educational pathways, and new forms of interdisciplinary and international cooperation.
For Roma Tre, joining EPICUR represents a further step in the University’s internationalisation strategy and offers the academic community new opportunities to take part in initiatives and activities developed within the Alliance.
Over the coming months, information will be progressively shared on EPICUR opportunities available to students, academic staff, researchers and professional and administrative staff.
