There are 57 researchers from Roma Tre University included in the Top 2% Most Influential Scientists 2025, the ranking drawn up by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier. This figure marks a further increase compared to previous years: there were 48 in 2023 and 54 in 2024, confirming steady growth in the quality and visibility of the University’s scientific output.
The international ranking uses bibliometric indicators extracted from Scopus, one of the world’s leading citation databases and identifies the top 2% of the most influential researchers worldwide across 22 scientific fields and 174 subcategories, out of more than ten million authors.
For each researcher, the analysis takes into account parameters such as the number of citations, the Hirsch index (H-index) and the c-score, a composite measurement that evaluates the relevance of scientific contributions, the author’s position within publications (first, last or single author) and co-authorship patterns.
The Link identifier #identifier__72446-12025 ranking, published in August, considers both the impact of scientific production over the last year (citations received in 2024) and the entire academic career of the researchers.
The increase in the number of Roma Tre researchers and professors featured in this international ranking represents further recognition of the value of the research conducted at the University, which continues to stand out for the quality and impact of its studies at international level.
