 Research Budget (10%)

Each PhD student, including those without a scholarship, is entitled to a budget equal to 10% of the annual scholarship amount, which can be used for:

• Missions in Italy and abroad
  • Fill out the mission Link identifier #identifier__130206-2request form
  • Indicate the PhD coordinator as the fund manager
  • Specify “10% Research Budget” as the project
• Registration for conferences, seminars, PhD schools
• Purchase of research consumables
  (e.g., reagents, audiovisual materials, stationery, electronic equipment)
• Publication expenses, including open access fees
• Specialized training (e.g., language courses)
• Purchase of books and articles (in print or digital format)
• IT tools for research
  (e.g., software licenses, PCs, tablets, webcams, keyboards, etc.)

Missions and Stays Abroad

• Mission = short trip for conferences, workshops, etc.
  • Fill out the mission Link identifier #identifier__104087-3request form
• Stay abroad = extended period at a university or research institution
  • Fill out the authorization form for the stay abroad
  • Attach an invitation letter from the hosting professor
  • Also fill out the mission Link identifier #identifier__198174-4request form for insurance and travel reimbursement
  • Send a monthly letter, signed by the hosting professor, confirming your presence abroad

• Institutional account provides access to:
  • University e-mail
  • Office software package
  • Overleaf (upon request to your research group supervisor)
  • Other services available on the dedicated page
