The written examination contains 3-6 exercises, aimed at verifying the level of effective comprehension of the concepts and the ability of the student to apply them in practical contexts. Optional midterms are also offered, with the same structure. Students are required to develop small projects. One of them will be evaluated towards the exam. All the others will not be evaluated, but they will be essential in the preparation for the exam. All the exam (and midterm) tests of previous years (since 1998) are available on the course Web site: http://www.dia.uniroma3.it/~atzeni/didattica/BD/compitiPDF/index.html During the COVID-19 emergency, the exam could be held in an oral way, possibly preceded by written exercises. For each student, the whole exam is held in one day.Programma
