Research assignments are awarded to support scientific research activities, carried out under the supervision of a Tutor, and represent an important opportunity to contribute concretely to the University’s scientific initiatives.

As established by the Link identifier #identifier__144394-2University Regulations governing the awarding of these assignments, appointments may be made through selection procedures or through public calls for expressions of interest.

All individuals holding a Master’s Degree or a Single-Cycle Degree, as required by Article 9 of the same Regulations, and possessing a curriculum suitable for research support activities, may apply.

The duration of research assignments may range from a minimum of one year to a maximum of three years, which may also be non-consecutive. This limit may only be exceeded in specific cases, namely when the assignment is connected to Marie Skłodowska Curie (MSCA) programmes.

All calls for applications and notices for expressions of interest are published on the University’s Official Bulletin Board (Link identifier #identifier__88771-3Albo Pretorio), where they can be freely consulted. Furthermore, all necessary forms for holders of research assignments—such as those relating to suspension requests, withdrawals, or other administrative communications—are available on the dedicated page managed by the Link identifier #identifier__38069-4Area for Tax and Social Security Compliance.
