Modalità Erogazione

The lessons are, usually, performed as traditional in a room with a presentation and the students can immediately ask for more explanations. The course lessons also include practice exercises on the use of PLC and SCADA software. During the academic year 2019-20, due to the national situation, the lessons have been performed online, exploiting Microsoft Teams and Moodle.

Modalità Frequenza

The frequency is facultative, but it is strongly encouraged.

Modalità Valutazione

Learning verification takes place through the evaluation of a project, carried out in a group of no more than three students, and an oral test. The project represents the simulation, control, and supervision of an industrial process chosen by the students. The project demonstrates how the students were able to program via industrial software for PLC and SCADA systems. The oral test demonstrates the student's knowledge regarding field buses, industrial communication networks, safety and security for industrial plants, and, in general, problems in the industrial world.
